40X40

I'll add as the list grows

1. Be in best shape of my life- even better than before my wedding. Lose the tummy. Firm the flab. DON'T BE THAT MOM AT THE BUS STOP!

2. Be more "present" in the twins life. Make sure I'm having a meaningful connection everyday. Lots of hugs. Lots of I love yous.

3. Have a date night twice a month. Make marriage an important part of my daily life. Make it work.

4. Visit Asia or Africa.

5. Explore the option of becoming a museum educator.

6. Take a class on archeology.

7. CONQUER one fear- heights, flying, public speaking.

8. Learn to let control go.

9.

New year, new goals

I started 2011 thinking that in one year and 10 months I'll be 40. It seems to be the "new" 21. Or 30. Or whatever is cool right now.
So. 38. 22 months to change a lot of things about me. I'm not happy. I hate the way I look, the way I act. It's time to make some changes that will carry me gracefully into middle age.

Wow. I'm old.

So I'm making a list. 40 things I want to do or change about myself before that big day. Another decade. I DO NOT want to go gently into that good night.
A secret check point for my self.
I hope that on September 30, 2012 I can look at my list with pride, with accomplishment. WITH I'M NOT A FAT ASS ANY MORE.
Basically, the same goals as I had at 18. Only with less will power and more money!
